The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process information such as personal identifiers, contact details, qualifications, and experience. We may also collect images of your aircraft or equipment and records of any aircraft operations.

How we obtain your personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you, your insurance company, a maintenance company or service provider to yourself. We process your information to allow us to advise your insurance company regarding any claim or claims you may make.

We may share this information with your insurance company or insurance broker for processing of claims.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent.

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored electronically in the UK. Any information supplied in hard copy will be electronically scanned and the hard copies shredded.

We keep your information for the length of the claim processing time and then for the time required by your insurers. We will then dispose your information by deleting it permanently from our systems.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
